Privacy Policy of Vidpine
Updated Date: September 21, 2026
At Vidpine (package name: com.pinetechlab.vidpine), your privacy is a top priority. We are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains the data we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe while you're using our app ("Vidpine" or "the App").
By using Vidpine, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms below, please do not use the App.
1. Information We Collect
We want to be clear about what data we do and do not collect:
What We Do NOT Collect:
- No Manual Registration Required: You can use Vidpine without manually creating an account, entering an email, or providing personal information. The app automatically creates an anonymous guest session on your device so you can start using it right away.
- No Images or Videos Stored on Our Servers: The images and videos you create stay on your device. We do not permanently collect, store, or share any generated images or videos.
- No Personal Identifiers: We don't collect personal identifiers like your name, email address, or physical address.
What We DO Collect:
- Device Information: To optimize your experience, we collect basic technical information about your device (e.g., device model, operating system version, screen resolution, language, timezone). This helps us ensure the app works well across different devices.
- Device Identifier: We generate a unique, anonymous device identifier by applying a one-way hash (MD5) to a combination of the Android-provided device identifier (ANDROID_ID) and the app's package name. This identifier cannot be used to track you personally and is used solely for service operation. If the Android device identifier is unavailable, a random UUID is used as a fallback. We also use Firebase Installation ID as an additional anonymous identifier for service operation. For installs identified as coming from our direct Meta campaigns, a Facebook SDK anonymous device identifier is also used (see Section 7).
- Automatic Guest Session: When you first open the app, an anonymous guest session is created automatically using your device identifier. This session allows us to provide personalized features (such as saving your creation history) without requiring you to register an account. The session data does not contain any personally identifiable information.
- Usage Data: We track how you use the app — which features you interact with, how often you use it, etc. This helps us improve the app and tailor it to your preferences.
- Advertising Identifier: We may collect your Google Advertising ID (GAID) for advertising attribution purposes. If you have enabled "Limit Ad Tracking" or "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on your device, we will not collect this identifier. You can reset your advertising ID at any time through your device settings.
- Facebook SDK (Meta): Used only to measure installs that come from our direct Meta (Facebook) campaigns. The SDK is disabled by default and stays completely dormant — it is not initialized and reports nothing — unless the install is identified as coming from a direct campaign. When activated, it reports the install/activation event and an anonymous device identifier to Meta; the same identifier is sent to our own backend and used together with Meta's server-side Conversions API to measure conversions. Purchase events are reported server-side only. We do not use Facebook login, sharing, or deep links. For details, see the Meta Privacy Policy.
- Audio Data: If you choose to use the audio recording feature, we collect the audio you record through your device's microphone. This data is collected only when you explicitly initiate recording and is used solely as background music (BGM) for AI video generation. See Section 3 for full details.
- Push Notification Data: We use notification identifiers to deliver service notifications (such as generation progress updates) to your device. Notifications can be disabled at any time through your device settings, and turning them off does not affect your use of the app's core features.
2. Uploading Images/Videos for AI Generation
We offer features where you can upload images or videos to generate AI-styled content. Here's how it works:
- Uploaded Media: When you upload an image or video, it is used to generate the styled image or video based on the media's attributes. Uploaded files are transmitted securely to our servers for processing.
- Temporary Processing: Uploaded media and generated results are stored temporarily on our servers solely for the purpose of processing. They are automatically deleted after processing is complete.
- No Permanent Storage: We do not permanently store the images or videos you upload, nor any personal details linked to them.
3. Audio Recording and Usage
Vidpine provides an optional audio recording feature that allows you to record short audio clips to use as background music (BGM) for AI-generated videos:
- Microphone Access: The app requests access to your device's microphone only when you choose to use the audio recording feature. This permission is requested at runtime and can be denied or revoked at any time through your device settings.
- What We Record: Audio is recorded locally on your device using your device's built-in microphone. Recording only occurs when you explicitly initiate it.
- Purpose: The recorded audio is used solely as background music (BGM) input for AI video generation.
- Upload and Processing: Once you confirm the recording, the audio file is uploaded securely to our servers and used as BGM during AI video generation.
- Temporary Storage: Uploaded audio files are stored temporarily on our servers for processing purposes only. They are automatically deleted after processing is complete.
- No Voice Identification: We do not use recorded audio for voice recognition, speaker identification, or any biometric analysis.
- Local Cache: Recorded audio files are temporarily cached on your device during the recording session. You can clear this cache at any time by clearing the app's data through your device settings.
4. Facial Data Collection and Usage
To provide our AI-enhanced image and video generation features, Vidpine may process minimal facial data when you upload photos or videos containing faces:
- What We Process: Facial landmarks (such as the position of eyes, nose, and mouth), feature details like contours and proportions, from photos or videos you voluntarily upload.
- Purpose: The facial data is used solely to generate personalized, high-quality images and videos, ensure accurate alignment of visual effects, and enhance the precision of AI-generated content.
- Temporary Processing: Facial data is processed securely and stored temporarily on encrypted servers strictly for generating AI results. It is automatically deleted after processing is complete, typically within 24 hours.
- No Sharing: We do not share any facial data with third parties under any circumstances.
5. How We Use Your Data
The data we collect helps us deliver a better experience:
- App Operation: Ensuring the app works properly and delivers the features you expect.

We do not use Facebook login, sharing, or deep links. For more details, see the Meta Privacy Policy.
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how data is collected and used. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.
